USS Kearsarge appears to be a Harrier carrier!
What I want to know is this - if its the right thing to do to use Harriers off the Kearsarge, which is in effect carrier aircraft, why not bring the whole airwing over from Enterprise, and finish it off.
There are just 6-7 Harriers on the Kearsarge. Very good aircraft, very good pilots, very good 'punch' they provide, but just those few. The airwing from Enterprise would've ended this in 24 hours.
This is the limited warfare that the current administration believes in. You go in to win, or not at all.

The USS Olympia is a cruiser that fought in the Spanish American War in 1898 and has been preserved in Philadelphia. She's a one of a kind ship, a national historic monument, and in danger.
