The USS Olympia is a cruiser that fought in the Spanish American War in 1898 and has been preserved in Philadelphia. She's a one of a kind ship, a national historic monument, and in danger. 1. If he says this, his hope is that we would stand down our military purchases because our elected officials believe him.
2. They are on a robust shipbuilding schedule. While I agree that our fleet is much stronger than theirs, it is also accurate to state that they are building a fleet to deny sea access in that part of the world. Their shipbuilding programs are more aggressive than ours right now.
3. Never listen or believe a Commie - never, never, never. Just enough plausibility to make a lie sound like the truth.
