Preserving a piece of US Maritime History - invaluable
The USS Olympia is a cruiser that fought in the Spanish American War in 1898 and has been preserved in Philadelphia. She's a one of a kind ship, a national historic monument, and in danger. Walk The Prank - The Pentagon can be soooo stuffy! Hilarious!

I think the world's best...most sophisticated...gags are pulled off by Naval Academy guys.
Just before my time...a midshipman (I forget his name so call him Jones) pulled this praink as a labor of love...
He was a Wires major (Electrical Engineering). He used the Wires lab to construct large speakers, each box about waist high.
One night, he lined his speakers along one side of Bancroft Hall...the worlld's largest dormatory.
As the sun first peaked over the Severn River, he took a microphone and announced over his row of monster speakers...
"Gentlemen, Midshipman Jones, in cooperation with God, presents the sun."

The End of An Era - the last time this shuttle will ever be in Florida
At the Shuttle Landing Facility at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida Sunday, the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft is positioned beneath space shuttle Discovery in the mate-demate device.
